We are thrilled to welcome you back to the movies the way they were meant to be seen - on the big screen.

As we prepare to reopen our doors and relight the marquee, please read the information below to learn what we are doing in accordance with the CDC and local government to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

REOPENING
The Regent Theatre will reopen on Saturday, May 8 and Sunday May 9 for 2pm and 7pm showtimes. Weekend showtimes ONLY will continue May 8 & 9, 15  & 16, 22 & 23 at 2pm & 7pm. Friday night concessions to go will continue from 6pm-8pm.

Our regular showtime schedule will resume on Friday, May 28. Showtimes are seven days a week at 7pm and Saturdays & Sundays at 2pm & 7pm. Evening features are $5 a ticket and weekend matinees are $4 a ticket.

The Regent is prepared for a safe, quality movie going experience for our staff members and patrons.

  • The Regent will operate at 50% capacity with pre-selected “pods” available.
  • The maximum number of seats in one pod is six. Groups planning to sit together must purchase tickets together.
  • There will be one line for tickets and concession sales. No pre-sale available. Patrons will be expected to wait outside.
  • Doors will open one half hour before showtime.

The Regent Theatre will ask that its patrons follow posted guidelines set in place to ensure health and safety so long as the threat to public health remains. Guidelines will be posted throughout the lobby and on the screen during the pre-show advertising.

FACE MASKS

Patrons are required to wear face masks upon entry and may remove them only once they are seated. If a patron leaves their seat, their mask must be worn to the restroom, concession stand, or otherwise moving about the theater.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

To avoid overcrowding in a small lobby, there will be one shared line for tickets and concessions. Patrons will be expected to have to wait outside.

Distancing within the auditorium during the screening of a movie will place separate paying groups at a 6-foot distance from one another. In order to achieve that separation, a minimum of four seats and one row must be allowed between each group.

The Regent Theatre seats a total of 204 on the ground floor and 140 in the balcony for overflow.

REFUNDS

Current Regent Theatre Membership holders will have their membership cards honored at the box office until December 31, 2021.
